
Elizabeth Miller graduated from Flagler College in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science. She graduated from Florida State University College of Law in December 1985, where she was a member of the Moot Court, national Order of the Barristers, and Phi Delta Phi. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in July 1986.
Elizabeth Miller is a former state prosecutor in the Second Judicial Circuit’s Leon County Office. She has trial experience in a wide variety of causes including murder, robbery, burglary, sex crimes, and drug cases. She is a former Staff Director of the Florida Senate Criminal Justice Committee, where she was awarded “Most Valuable Employee’ from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for her work during the 1997 legislative session.
Prior to joining Banks & Morris, P.A., she was a Senior Attorney with the Florida Commission on Human Relations, specializing in employment law. She conducted training sessions and seminars for employees and employers on Title VII, the Florida Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Florida Whistle-blower’s Act.
